I never set out to become a recording artist. I write songs.
Some begin with a memory, some with a question, some with something I see or hear, and occasionally with an idea that simply refuses to leave me alone. I follow it and see where it goes.
The music travels through country, Americana, reggae, dance, jazz, ambient instrumentals and places that don't fit comfortably under any label. That's fine with me. The story or idea comes first; the style follows.
Technology has given me a way to take lyrics and musical ideas that once would have remained on a page and hear what they might become. I use AI-assisted tools as part of that creative process, but the starting point remains very human: an experience, a thought, a memory, a few words scribbled down before they disappear.

If you're an artist looking for material, a musician searching for a song that fits your voice, or a DJ or producer who hears something that could work in an entirely different style, I'm open to the possibilities.
You don't have to reproduce my recordings. In fact, I'd rather hear what you can bring to the material. Change the arrangement. Change the tempo. Take a country song toward rock, soul or reggae. Turn something quiet into something that fills a dance floor. Tailor the music to your own voice, audience and style.
These recordings are interpretations of the songs—not instructions for how they must sound.
The compositions remain copyrighted, and appropriate songwriting/publishing credit and royalty participation would need to be preserved in any authorized commercial release. Beyond that, I'm interested in collaboration rather than creative restrictions.
