The author’s unique out of the box style and look at life, is always staring at the inevitability and possibilities in life, with the hope that readers keep their eyes open to the long and winding misleading road of life. Just his view open to interpretation and discussion. 

The author since his final days of high school had a desire to write poetry, keeping notes and poems on scraps of paper, incomplete and placed in files, some finding their way as the author likes to quote Pink Floyd, “I got a little black book with poems in it.” True. 

As sudden illness raised a level of concern for not only his life, but the fear that all of his works, and photographs would be thrown out with the trash, as often does when one passes. 

“Byron Corner-crosswalk and crossroads,” was created, a collection of poems and photographs over a fifty-year period. 

“Misfortune Cookies,” came about as another collection of poems was being put together from piles of notes and incomplete poems, when I reduced lengthy ideas into a few syllables, lol. Then the process remained, instead of keeping notes, I would write down ideas and put into this short form. Polishing them upon publishing.

“Autobiographica-Poetica-lol”, is just that, philosophical haiku, short poems and poetic prose, illuminating the authors life, good times, and lifelong misstakes and regrets. An outpouring of raw emotions best served in small portions. 

Byron Corner – Crosswalks and Crossroads is a deeply personal collection of poems, reflections, and photographs—gathered, lived, and created over the span of more than fifty years.
